London Fashion Week is in full-swing with shows like Gareth Pugh, Burberry and Topshop Unique stealing the limelight with their iconic designs or digital savvy strategy, capturing the media’s attention. It’s no wonder upcoming designers don’t get a look in.
However this season one designer has been brought to my attention through Huffington Post. I have never heard of Shrimps before, have you? But when I saw the designs in the presentation pictures, I fell in love with the faux fur, pink detail and fun designs.
In my opinion fashion for the catwalk isn’t to be worn in reality, for me it’s art. But i do love to take inspiration from the catwalk and recreate a high-street look that is bang on-trend.
This is exactly what I have done below. This look is an example of taking an outfit straight from the catwalk, that can be bought on the high-street and making it wearable. I hope you like this look, do let me know what you think? I have listed all the links to the outfit below.
I was backstage yesterday at shows and to be totally honest it’s absolute madness because so much effort, time and preparation goes into one show. It’s nice to see less well-known designers like Shrimps being acknowledged in the media.
What do you think about this designer? I would love to know!
